Laundromat Attendant (Part-time)

About Us We are a neighborhood laundromat focused on providing a clean, safe, and friendly environment for our customers. In addition to self-service laundry, we offer wash-and-fold (drop-off) service and take pride in excellent customer care. Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. This role involves customer service, cleaning, and handling wash-and-fold laundry orders. This is a great fit for someone who is dependable, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in keeping a space clean and organized. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Process wash-and-fold (drop-off) laundry orders Weigh, sort, wash, dry, and neatly fold customer laundry Keep the laundromat clean (machines, floors, folding tables, restroom, etc.) Monitor machines and report any issues Handle payments using POS system (training provided) Open or close the store Schedule Part-time (approx. 1-3 shifts per week) Shifts are typically 8 hours Must have occasional availability on weekends Schedule may vary based on business needs Requirements Reliable and punctual Able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail (especially for folding and sorting laundry) Able to keep detailed records Comfortable standing for long periods Able to lift up to 25 lbs Excellent customer service skills Prior laundromat or cleaning experience is a plus (but not required) What We're Looking For Someone trustworthy and dependable Takes initiative and keeps busy during downtime Positive attitude with customers and coworkers Will follow procedures and store policies This role involves standing for extended periods, lifting laundry bags (up to 25 lbs), and repetitive folding and sorting.
