Wednesday through Friday, between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. About Dewy Laundry Dewy Laundry is a growing local laundry service providing professional pickup, delivery, wash, dry, and fold services for residential and commercial customers throughout the Vancouver area. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Laundry Processing & Delivery Associate to help process customer laundry and complete local pickup and delivery routes. This position is a great fit for someone looking for dependable side income, independent work, and the opportunity to grow with a small local company. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver residential and commercial laundry orders Transport laundry to and from Dewy Laundry's designated laundromat partner Sort, wash, dry, fold, package, and label customer laundry Keep all customer orders separated throughout the cleaning process Follow customer instructions and Dewy Laundry's processing standards Inspect laundry for stains, damage, special-care instructions, or items left in pockets Communicate promptly about order issues, delays, or special circumstances Maintain an organized and sanitary laundry-processing workspace Handle customer belongings carefully and professionally Provide friendly, dependable service during pickups and deliveries Follow company safety, sanitation, and quality-control procedures All customer laundry must be processed at Dewy Laundry's designated laundromat partner. Customer laundry may not be washed, processed, or stored at the employee's home. Schedule Approximately 10 hours per week to start Must be available Wednesday through Friday between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. Actual shift lengths may vary depending on laundry volume and scheduled pickup routes Hours may increase to approximately 25-30 hours per week as the company grows Vehicle Requirements Because this position includes pickup and delivery, applicants must: Have a valid driver's license and safe driving record Have reliable access to an insured personal vehicle Own or regularly have access to a large sedan, SUV, van, or truck with enough cargo space to transport multiple laundry orders Be comfortable using their personal vehicle for local pickup and delivery routes Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and organization Comfortable washing, drying, folding, and packaging different types of laundry Able to follow detailed customer instructions and company procedures Able to keep multiple residential and commercial orders organized and separated Comfortable communicating professionally with customers Able to manage time effectively and complete orders by their deadlines Able to lift, carry, load, and unload laundry bags weighing between 15-60 pounds Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, cleaning, or delivery experience is helpful but not required Compensation and Growth Starting pay of $17.50 per hour Approximately 10 hours per week initially Potential to grow to 20-30 hours per week based on performance Opportunity for a higher hourly wage and additional responsibilities as Dewy Laundry expands Part-time work that can provide consistent side income This position does not currently include health benefits.
