The Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating washing and drying machines, sorting laundry by fabric type and color, and handling delicate items with care. Minimum Qualifications:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, follow instructions, and maintain records. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying laundry loads. Prior experience in a laundry or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory. Understanding of basic safety and hygiene practices related to laundry operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating commercial laundry machinery and familiarity with different fabric care requirements. Knowledge of stain removal techniques and fabric repair methods. Responsibilities:

Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and washing requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and perform additional cleaning or repairs as necessary. Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry for distribution or storage, maintaining an orderly and clean work area. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
