Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process laundry efficiently. Handle textiles with care, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and finishing of linens, clothing, and other fabric items. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all laundry areas by following strict safety standards in production. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely across the facility. Adhere to safety protocol guidelines during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Manage laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly, ensuring correct usage for optimal results. Provide friendly customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring garments are returned in excellent condition. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in textile cleaning environments. Familiarity with garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail to ensure garments are cleaned thoroughly without damage. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
