Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to clean linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established procedures. Handle laundry materials with care, ensuring proper sorting by color, fabric type, and washing requirements. Use push carts and other tools to transport heavy loads of linens safely throughout the laundry area. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, equipment, and storage areas following safety protocols. Apply laundry detergents and cleaning agents accurately while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Manage textile cleaning processes efficiently to meet hotel standards for freshness and presentation. Assist with materials handling tasks such as folding, sorting, and organizing clean textiles for distribution to various hotel departments. Follow safety protocol adherence during all manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Monitor industrial dryers and garment care machines for proper operation and troubleshoot issues promptly. Support guest service efforts by ensuring timely delivery of clean linens and textiles upon request. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Basic knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments is advantageous. Familiarity with laundry detergents, garment care machines, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning processes is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently is essential. Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills ensures high-quality textile care.
