Pickup Delivery Driver/Laundry Attendant

Duties Safely operate a courier vehicle to pick up and deliver laundry items across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload laundry carts or containers using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury, including heavy lifting when necessary. Ensure accurate delivery of laundry orders by verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Assist with sorting, loading, unloading, and processing laundry items at the facility, supporting warehouse operations as needed. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm pickup or delivery times, address questions, or resolve issues promptly. Follow established routes efficiently using route driving best practices to optimize delivery times. Support team members by helping with general laundry attendant duties. Adhere to all safety protocols during driving and loading/unloading to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities in a commercial setting. Valid driver's license; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person and over the phone. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving loads safely and efficiently.
