Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning units to ensure proper cleaning of textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing garments or linens according to established procedures. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work areas, laundry machines, and tools to promote a safe environment. Use push carts and other materials handling equipment to transport heavy loads of laundry efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with safety standards in production. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for laundry services and ensuring their garments are cared for with attention to detail. Keep accurate records of laundry cycles, materials used, and maintenance needs to support operational efficiency. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile care methods. Experience operating laundry services equipment such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines. Ability to handle materials safely using proper manual handling procedures and push carts. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with laundry detergents, textile cleaning processes including dry cleaning when applicable, and safety standards related to laundry operations.
