Laundry Attendant Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial washing and drying machines to clean linens and garments
• Sort, fold, and package cleaned items for delivery
• Inspect items for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading laundry from box trucks or pallet jacks
• Perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles for transportation purposes

Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting
• Knowledge of warehouse operations is advantageous
