Join the JKS Creative Network. John Kind Studios is expanding its project-activated network of styling professionals who help talent and production participants look prepared, consistent, and aligned with the approved creative direction.

We are accepting applications from:

Makeup Artists Hair Stylists Wardrobe Stylists Costume Designers Projects may include branded campaigns, commercial productions, photography, documentaries, music videos, educational media, live events, nonprofit storytelling, and other creative assignments. Each discipline is evaluated and assigned separately. Applying as a Makeup Artist does not automatically qualify someone as a Hair Stylist or Wardrobe Stylist. Professionals who offer multiple services should provide evidence of their qualifications in each area. This is a project-based independent-contractor opportunity. Joining the JKS Creative Network does not guarantee assignments, hours, minimum income, or exclusivity. Every paid assignment is offered separately with its scope, compensation, schedule, responsibilities, and applicable expenses confirmed in writing before acceptance.

Qualifications:

A professional portfolio, website, or social profile showing relevant work Experience with productions, photography sessions, live events, performances, or comparable assignments Strong sanitation, preparation, organization, and continuity practices Dependability and responsiveness Ability to work respectfully with people of different identities, appearances, hair textures, skin tones, cultures, and accessibility needs Ability to follow creative direction and work within production schedules Accurate communication about services, kits, products, assistants, and limitations
