At Mix Cosmetiques, we don't simply sell makeup. We create it alongside our customers! One appointment might involve helping someone create an organic foundation that finally matches their skin after years of searching. The next could be blending a clean, custom lipstick shade, designing a lip gloss, or helping a customer discover colors that make them feel more confident than ever before. Every customer is different. Every formula is different. Every day is different. As a Makeup Designer, you'll be part beauty consultant, part artist, part educator, and part creator. You'll learn how ingredients function, how colors interact with different skin tones, and how to guide customers through a personalized beauty experience they can't find anywhere else. No beauty industry experience is required. We'll teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is curiosity, creativity, color theory, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help people feel their best. As we launch our Minneapolis location, we're looking for someone excited to help build something special and grow alongside a company with big ambitions.

What You'll Do:

Help customers create custom makeup, skincare, fragrance, and beauty products tailored specifically to them Guide one-on-one appointments, workshops, parties, and group experiences Blend, customize, and create products in real time with customer input Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment Prepare for appointments, workshops, and special events Fulfill online orders and assist with inventory management Assist with product production, packaging, and restocking Capture photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content for social media Leadership & Independence This is more than an entry-level retail position. Following training, there will be days when you run the studio independently. You'll help customers, manage appointments, make decisions, solve problems, and ensure everything runs smoothly. We're looking for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes initiative, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a new location from the ground up.
