Hair and Makeup Artist - Photography Studio Stevie Rotella Photography — Pioneer Square, Seattle, WA Stevie Rotella Photography is looking for a skilled Hair and Makeup Artist to join our team on a freelance, hourly basis. We create natural to dramatic looks for a range of shoots, including family portraits, beauty sessions, business branding, and professional headshots. Our artists stay on set for the full shoot, providing touch-ups and look changes as needed between setups and subjects. What You'll Do Create camera-ready hair and makeup looks tailored to each shoot type — from soft, natural looks for headshots and family sessions to more polished or dramatic styling for beauty and branding work Handle a range of clients in a single session, including light touch-ups for kids and men, and full looks for adults Stay on set for the duration of the shoot to manage touch-ups, sweat/shine control, and look changes between outfits or scenes Bring and maintain your own professional kit, sanitized and ready for multiple clients per session Collaborate with the photographer to match styling to the shoot's mood, lighting, and creative direction What We're Looking For Experience in hair and makeup for photography or video (portrait, editorial, or bridal experience a plus) Comfortable working with a wide range of ages, skin tones, and hair types Reliable, punctual, and easy to work with in a fast-paced studio environment Own professional-grade kit and tools Portfolio or Instagram showcasing recent work
