Duties Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care options and color choices based on client preferences and skin tones Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques like 3D art or encapsulation Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs, offering professional advice, and creating a relaxing atmosphere Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, or accessories while demonstrating strong retail math skills to meet sales goals Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations with specialization in nail care Demonstrated knowledge of color theory for creating harmonious nail designs and artistic effects Experience with advanced nail techniques including acrylics, gel applications, nail art, and enhancements like eyelash extensions or hair styling is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse clients and team members Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment Ability to perform detailed work while standing for extended periods in a fast-paced setting Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments are a plus but not mandatory Join us to elevate your career in beauty!
