Medical Assistant / Nail Tech Podiatry Health Services - 4.0 Cooper City, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Medical documentation Calibration Analysis skills Attention to detail Patient interaction Medical assisting Full Job Description Overview We are looking for a hands-on, patient-focused Medical Assistant or Nail Tech to join a modern podiatry practice specializing in advanced foot care, balance assessment, and non-invasive laser treatments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, prefers procedure-based patient care over administrative work, and wants to build specialized clinical skills—without the demands of phlebotomy or high-acuity procedures. What You'll Do Perform balance and gait testing using computerized diagnostic equipment Assist with and administer podiatric laser treatments (fungal nails, foot pain, inflammation) Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain treatment processes Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of testing and laser equipment Document procedures and results accurately in EMR Maintain strict infection control and room turnover protocols Support patient flow to keep clinic operations efficient and on schedule Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring experience for patients What We're Looking For 5 years Medical Assistant experience preferred (certification a plus, but not required) Comfortable working with medical devices and learning new technologies Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols precisely Excellent communication skills and patient interaction ability Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Interest in podiatry, rehabilitation, or non-invasive therapies
