Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry. Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend and create custom nail designs that suit each client's preferences. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety. Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering professional advice, and creating a relaxing experience. Upsell additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue. Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments. Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and industry research. Skills Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including cuticle care, shaping, polishing, and nail enhancements. Deep understanding of color theory to assist clients in choosing complementary shades and designs. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals. Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Experience with hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus. Ability to perform retail sales effectively by upselling products such as nail polishes or skincare items using retail math skills. Knowledge of retail sales strategies combined with strong interpersonal skills to promote services confidently.
