Job Summary We are seeking a talented and energetic Manicurist and Nail Technician to join our dynamic beauty team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services that enhance our clients' confidence and style. Your expertise in nail treatments, combined with excellent customer service skills, will create a welcoming environment where clients feel pampered and valued. Responsibilities Perform a variety of professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care. Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on client preferences and skin tones. Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance. Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services that meet client expectations. Upsell additional services such as hand or foot massages, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or other beauty treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring they feel comfortable and appreciated during each visit. Manage retail sales of nail care products, cosmetics, and accessories by applying retail math principles to meet sales goals effectively. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or certification in nail technology as required by local regulations. Nail Students in their final training period (eligible to work under Florida regulations) Proven experience in performing diverse nail treatments with a keen eye for detail and artistry. Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting flattering shades and designs. Familiarity with sanitation protocols to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clientele. Basic understanding of retail sales techniques including upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities. Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair styling, barbering, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or skin care treatments are considered a plus.
