The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. Your expertise in color theory, sanitation practices, and various nail techniques will contribute to our clients' satisfaction and overall experience. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with sanitation standards. Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and offering professional advice on nail care. Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and recommend products for home use. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques to enhance service offerings. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, body waxing, or eyelash extensions when appropriate. Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and client satisfaction. Qualifications Valid nail license or certification as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in nail design. Experience in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with sanitation practices specific to the beauty industry. Proficiency in various nail care techniques including but not limited to hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatment is preferred. Ability to perform retail math for effective sales transactions. Previous experience in upselling services is advantageous. A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning within the industry.
