Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Manicurist and Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and cosmetology, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves performing a variety of nail treatments, ensuring sanitation standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. Responsibilities Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate nail colors and designs. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the workspace and tools used. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments. Assist with retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to enhance service offerings. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the salon environment. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations. Strong understanding of nail care techniques and sanitation practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in hair styling, barbering, or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with retail math for effective sales transactions is desirable. Knowledge of additional services such as hair threading, dermabrasion, and body waxing is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
