In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail extensions, while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise in color theory, nail art, and sanitation will help clients feel pampered and valued. We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere where your skills can shine and your passion for beauty can grow! Duties Provide a wide range of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care Apply advanced techniques including nail art, color blending, and design to create customized looks for each client Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional recommendations, and ensure satisfaction Upsell retail products such as nail care essentials, skincare items, and beauty tools to enhance client experience and support salon sales goals Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workstations and tools according to sanitation standards Stay updated on the latest trends in nail artistry, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, eyelash extensions, and other beauty services to expand your skill set Qualifications Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields. Students currently enrolled in cosmetology programs are welcomed and encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices including disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs Skilled in nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and other advanced nail techniques Familiarity with color theory and nail art design principles Knowledge of additional beauty services such as body waxing is a plus
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
