Nail Technician Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. This role involves working closely with clients to deliver high-quality nail treatments and other beauty services, contributing to an overall positive experience. Duties Perform a variety of nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades for their nails. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments. Assist in retail sales by promoting products that enhance the client's beauty regimen. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their preferences and any special requests. Requirements Valid cosmetology or manicurist license or certification in nail technology. Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and sanitation practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Proficiency in communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Familiarity with retail math to assist in sales transactions and inventory management is a plus.
