We are in search of a nail tech to bring alternative nail enhancements to small town Remus. We have considerable requests as there are no other nail salons in town, we currently offer lacquer and gel nails but would like someone with the experience and skill to expand those options. Position may be either hourly/ comission or booth rental. Duties Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art designs with precision and creativity Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements Educate clients on nail care routines, product use, and aftercare to promote healthy nails Upsell retail products Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and new product offerings to deliver cutting-edge services Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while providing excellent customer service to foster repeat business Requirements Valid cosmetology or nail techn license as required by local regulations Proven experience in nail care services including gel applications, acrylics, and intricate nail art Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon environment Familiarity with color theory to create visually appealing designs that complement client preferences Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and understand their needs Ability to perform detailed work with steady hands while maintaining speed and efficiency Additional skills such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair threading are a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of retail math for upselling products successfully is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about beauty artistry, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, and eager to grow your career in a lively salon environment.
