Position:
Part-time Salon Nail Technician Schedule:
Tues, Wed, Thur, Friday 9:45 -4:30
Locations:
Multi Salon Charlotte area
Compensation:
hourly or 60% comm whichever is greater every two weeks plus tips.

No weekends or late evenings A modern, upscale salon management company has immediate openings for licensed, seasoned nail tech to provide services each week as assigned luxury senior communities in Charlotte. We're seeking long-term team members who are highly invested in their craft and deliver exceptional client service. Compensation is predictable and stable. Basic Requirements Able to pass yearly criminal background check and bi-annual random drug screenings. Reliable, consistent transportation. This is not a flexible schedule: you must work the full scheduled shift regardless of booked service volume (including accommodating walk-ins).
Tech-savvy:
position requires daily use of the salon computer and communication with the corporate team via text and email. Must be able to speak and write English proficiently for record keeping function.
Professional demeanor:
polished, polite, pleasant, engaged, outgoing, kind, and compassionate. Detail-oriented and able to self-manage; eager to learn and grow. Daily communication is required for client information relays and management. Intent to hold a part-time role for at least 2 years (not temporary or gap work). Experience with seniors or strong willingness to learn; able to adapt communication for varying cognitive abilities.
Education & Licensing:
High school diploma or equivalent and , Graduation from a cosmetology or nail tech school Specific Requirements Ability to wear appropriate business attire; no denim, sweat clothes, or scrubs. Work well with community aides and families to coordinate transport and reminders. Conduct thorough consultations; adjust communication style for clients, community staff, and family members. Role requires stylist to work efficiently with 30-minute manicures and 45- minute pedicures. The book of appointments is not a leisurely pace and requires consistent physical work and stamina. Must work with regular and gel polish, use a drill if needed and also paint a french polish design with ease. Must know how to do dip and acrylic services. Position requires a candidate to have a high level of intuition and and situational awareness; the ability to communicate directions, manage client relations and events, multitask, and pre-plan. Must be highly organized; able to prioritize through both fast- and slow-paced periods. Participation in company functions and certification training. Client relationship building, organization, salon account management, and self-promotion.

Can you perform all basic nail services (gel and regular polish)? Do you have the ability to commute to different assigned locations in Northern Virginia each week? Driving will be a necessary to commute to assigned locations.
