Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Manicurist Instructor, where your passion for beauty and expertise in nail care will inspire and empower aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in manicure techniques, skincare, and aesthetic treatments, ensuring students gain the skills needed to excel in the beauty industry. Your experience in salon environments combined with your teaching talent will help shape the next generation of nail technicians and beauty specialists. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to share your knowledge while fostering creativity and confidence among students. Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans covering nail care, skincare, massage therapy, and other aesthetic treatments aligned with industry standards and curriculum requirements Deliver engaging classroom and practical instruction on manicure techniques, nail art, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and other cosmetology services Supervise students during hands-on practice to ensure proper technique, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained Mentor students by providing constructive feedback, guidance on skill development, and career advice Demonstrate advanced skills such as hair styling, hair coloring, hair extensions, dermabrasion, facial treatments, makeup application, and laser aesthetic procedures Assess student progress through evaluations and practical exams to ensure competency before certification Maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing health regulations and sanitation protocols Skills Extensive knowledge of skincare, esthetic laser treatments, facials, dermabrasion, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and body waxing Proven experience working in the beauty industry with salon experience preferred Strong classroom management skills with experience in adult education or teaching settings Ability to mentor students effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere Skilled in lesson planning for diverse topics such as nail care, eyelash extensions, hair styling, coloring techniques, hair threading, and makeup application In-depth understanding of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and aesthetic treatments Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts and industry best practices This is an exciting opportunity for passionate beauty professionals eager to share their expertise while shaping future industry leaders.
