Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and nail care treatments. Apply and customize nail enhancements using techniques such as acrylic application and nail extensions to meet client preferences. Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments, ensuring client comfort and safety throughout the process. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice on nail care and design options, and ensure their satisfaction. Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, or tools to enhance client experience and increase sales. Stay updated on current trends in nail art, color theory, and new techniques to provide innovative services that delight clients. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail art design, and current beauty trends. Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions. Experience performing pedicures, manicures, and esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or laser skin treatments. Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation practices and disinfection procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Knowledge of retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to promote products effectively. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
