Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and preferences Execute advanced nail techniques such as nail extensions, gel overlays, and acrylic application to achieve desired looks Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools and workstations Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs, offering advice on nail care, and upselling retail products when appropriate Ensure a clean, organized work environment that complies with all health regulations and safety standards Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry best practices to continually enhance your skills Skills Strong knowledge of color theory and artistic design for creating unique nail art styles Experience working with nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and other enhancement methods Proficiency in performing pedicures and manicure treatments with attention to detail Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and infection control standards Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences Background in the beauty industry with experience in esthetic services such as body waxing or eyelash extensions is a plus Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction Knowledge of retail math for product sales management Certification in cosmetology or related fields is preferred but not required; ongoing training is encouraged Join our team as a Nail Technician and turn your passion for beauty into a rewarding career!
