Job Description
Nail Technician Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care, is creative, and has an interest in providing russian (electric file) manicures. As a nail tech at Lunar Beauty Bar, you will provide exceptional nail services while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures and nail art (we currently do not provide pedicures or acrylic/dip) We specialize in russian (e file) manicures so this is a must. Assist clients in choosing a nail color and nail art if necessary. Sanitize tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations to ensure a clean environment. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend services or products that enhance their experience. Stay up to date on the latest trends in nail design and techniques to offer. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by the state of Ohio. Willing to travel to receive russian manicure certification (we pay for the class) Strong understanding of sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to upsell services and products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. A passion for beauty and wellness with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
