Responsibilities Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail Consult with clients to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on their preferences and skin tone, utilizing your knowledge of color theory Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations after each client to ensure a safe environment for everyone Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, techniques, and products to provide innovative services that delight clients Upsell additional services like body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Manage retail sales of nail care products and other beauty items while demonstrating excellent communication skills to educate clients on their benefits Assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health regulations and promotes a professional atmosphere Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification in nail technology required by state law Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and detailed nail art Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Basic retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory efficiently Join our team where your creativity is celebrated!
