Job Description

Nail Technician Job Summary We are seeking a talented, licensed Nail Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about nail care, committed to providing exceptional customer service, and dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. In this role, you will perform a variety of professional nail services, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a positive, welcoming salon environment. Compensation starts at $16.00 per hour, plus gratuities. Tips are separate from the hourly rate and provide additional earning potential. Responsibilities Perform professional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylics, nail enhancements, and nail extensions. Consult with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate nail care treatments and services. Create customized nail art and designs based on client preferences and current trends. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with state board regulations and salon standards. Properly clean, disinfect, and sterilize tools and equipment after each service. Educate clients on nail health, maintenance, and aftercare recommendations. Promote salon services, retail products, and special offerings when appropriate. Maintain accurate client records, including services performed and product recommendations. Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and new products through ongoing education and training. Work collaboratively with team members to create an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications Current Nail Technician or Cosmetology license as required by state regulations. Experience performing manicures, pedicures, gel services, and nail enhancements preferred. Strong understanding of sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a loyal clientele. Creative eye for nail art, color selection, and design trends. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude. Retail sales experience and product knowledge are a plus.
