Nail Technician Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients. The Nail Technician will be responsible for performing various nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while also having the opportunity to upsell additional services. Responsibilities Perform high-quality manicures and pedicures, ensuring client satisfaction with each service. Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations. Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate services. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase sales. Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote a professional atmosphere. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide clients with informed recommendations. Collaborate with other beauty professionals in the salon to ensure a cohesive team environment. Requirements Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management. Experience in nail care techniques including acrylics, gels, and nail art preferred. Familiarity with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
