Bridgerland Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Nail Tech Instructor to join our team in Logan, Utah. This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise, mentor aspiring nail technicians, and make a meaningful impact in a hands-on learning environment. As a Nail Tech Instructor, you'll help students develop the technical skills, professionalism, creativity, and customer service practices needed to thrive in the beauty industry. From foundational techniques to advanced nail services, you'll guide students through real-world salon experiences that prepare them for success. What You'll Do As a Part-Time Nail Tech Instructor, you'll provide engaging instruction and hands-on training that prepares students for professional success in nail technology and cosmetology.
Instructing students on professional customer intake, consultations, and service recommendations.
Guiding students through real-world salon work and customer service experiences.
Supporting student learning in appointment scheduling, point-of-sale systems, and salon operations.
Developing and maintaining curriculum materials aligned with industry standards.
Evaluating student performance through practical demonstrations, assignments, and assessments.
Maintaining accurate student records, attendance, progress, and documentation.
Creating a safe, clean, organized, and professional learning environment.
Promoting proper sanitation, safety practices, and industry best practices.
Building professional rapport with students, staff, and clients.
Encouraging professionalism, confidence, creativity, and strong work habits.
Supporting program goals and performing additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a skilled nail technology professional who is passionate about education, student success, and the beauty industry. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Cosmetology License with Nail Tech emphasis.
Minimum of 23 years of hands-on experience in the beauty industry.
Strong knowledge of basic and advanced nail services, sanitation, safety, and customer consultation practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively demonstrate techniques and support hands-on student learning.
