SPA Nail Tech

Summary/objective Provide individualized nail services and treatments to clients, including manicures and pedicures Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Greet guests in a professional and courteous manner Gather complete and accurate information on new spa patrons using waivers and forms Keep comprehensive notes of services and treatments performed in a member folder Perform all nail services offered at spa, including: remove previously applied nail polish; cut, shape and smooth nails; soften nail cuticles; assess condition of clients' skin, remove dead skin from hands/feet and provide massage; advise clients on nail care and use of products Restock and dispense supplies and towels as needed Provide information about services and products Consistently review and update knowledge of Spa services, products, and offerings Ensure that treatment rooms and work spaces are clean and neat at all times Follow all sanitation standards for service implements Support and promote spa products and merchandise Requirements Physical demands Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Required competencies, education, and experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Prior experience working as a nail technician preferred Hold a valid state nail technician license Prior customer service experience highly desired Must be exceptionally customer service oriented Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Must be at least 18 years old Must be customer service oriented, positive team player Company Expectations Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook Park in team member-designated areas Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean Assist with Service Day Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department Promptly return messages Exhibit a positive attitude at all times Deliver five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times Attend all required meetings and training sessions, including webinars Affirmative Action/EEO statement acac is an equal opportunity employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
