Casting "Bleeding Barsi," a student film (2-3 minutes) for the USC School of Cinematic Arts, MFA Film and Television. A dialogue-free short film exploring grief, womanhood, and the evolving relationship between a mother and daughter. Set during a Hindu memorial ceremony for their late grandmother and mother, the film follows two women struggling to navigate their grief. Their physical pain becomes a reflection of the emotions they are unable to express. As the distance between them slowly breaks down, they find comfort in one another. This is an intimate, emotionally driven film that relies on visual storytelling, subtle expressions, and natural performances.
