In this key leadership role, you will support the Salon Manager in overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining salon standards, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty and wellness, thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong leadership skills, and understands the importance of social media and digital marketing in today's beauty industry. Responsibilities - Salon Operations Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily salon operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure the salon is clean, organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently at all times. Monitor appointment schedules and coordinate staff assignments to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Maintain inventory levels by ordering and tracking salon products, supplies, and retail merchandise. Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations. Assist with payroll preparation, cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reporting. Team Leadership & Staff Development Lead, motivate, and support nail technicians, receptionists, and support staff. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to maintain high service standards. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Help manage employee schedules, attendance, and shift coverage. Customer Experience Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every client receives a positive salon experience. Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively. Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty. Support retail product sales through education and personalized recommendations. Marketing & Social Media Assist in planning and executing salon promotions, events, and marketing campaigns. Create and post engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business Profile. Capture high-quality photos and videos of nail services, salon events, and promotions. Respond to online inquiries, comments, messages, and customer reviews in a professional manner. Monitor social media performance and recommend strategies to increase engagement, visibility, and client bookings. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal promotions and community outreach initiatives. Qualifications - required Skills & Experience Previous experience in a supervisory, assistant manager, salon coordinator, or customer service leadership role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities. Experience with scheduling software, POS systems, and appointment booking platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a nail salon, beauty salon, spa, or related beauty industry environment. Knowledge of nail salon services, products, and sanitation requirements. Experience creating content and managing business social media accounts. Familiarity with Canva, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Business Suite, or similar marketing tools. Experience with retail sales, inventory management, and promotional marketing. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
