We value team players with positive attitudes and sharp customer service skills. Prior salon and/or leadership/customer service experience is a must. Salon Estique is a high-volume hair salon located in Arcadia. Established in 1994, we have over 30 years of experience providing first-class service to the Phoenix Metro area. As the first point of contact for our clients, our front desk is crucial in creating a welcoming and efficient environment that supports our team of stylists and ensures a seamless salon experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations Greet clients warmly and ensure an exceptional, welcoming experience from arrival to departure Oversee daily front desk operations to ensure efficiency, organization, and professionalism Manage appointment scheduling and ensure optimal booking flow and accuracy Handle client inquiries, calls, and communications with a high level of professionalism Resolve escalated client concerns and ensure timely, satisfactory outcomes Perform regular inventory counts and communicate ordering needs with operations manager. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and support front desk associates to maintain high performance and morale Serve as the first point of contact for team questions and issues Train and onboard new front desk team members on systems, service standards, and policies Provide ongoing feedback and support performance improvement. Scheduling & Staffing Create and manage front desk staff schedules to ensure proper coverage Coordinate shift changes, time-off requests, and attendance tracking Support hiring efforts and participate in interviews as needed Sales & Revenue Support Drive front desk contributions to revenue through rebooking, upselling, and retail sales Coach team members on product knowledge and sales techniques Monitor performance against sales goals and promote current offers or promotions Operational Excellence Ensure accuracy in transactions, cash handling, and daily reconciliation Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards of the reception and retail areas Identify and implement improvements to front desk processes and workflows Ensure compliance with salon policies and procedures Team & Cross-Department Communication Collaborate closely with stylists to ensure smooth client flow and scheduling efficiency Communicate updates, promotions, and operational changes to the front desk team Act as a liaison between front desk staff and salon management
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with computers and learning to navigate new programs Knowledge of hair care products and services is advantageous High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience with cash handling, retail, inbound/outbound phone, face-to-face customer service Available to work Full Time, Tuesday through Saturday - 8 hour shifts with start and end times between 8AM and 8PM. Please do not apply if your availability is limited. Comfortable standing for duration of shift and lifting up to 20lbs
