Work in a trend-setting, genderless, and inclusive salon environment where creativity, individuality, and community come first. We are seeking a full-time Salon Coordinator to work across our two Washington, DC locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-forward space and wants to be deeply involved in behind-the-scenes operations that keep a salon running at its highest level. Key Responsibilities Create and manage staff schedules, balancing business needs with team availability Coordinate shift coverage, time-off requests, and last-minute changes Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job listings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews Support onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the team Assist management with disciplinary actions, including documentation related to performance issues or terminations when necessary Participate in performance discussions and documentation related to staff conduct Place orders for products, tools, and salon supplies as needed Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure timely deliveries Assist with light social media management, including posting content, stories, and updates Capture in-salon content (before/afters, team moments, promotions) Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal campaigns Manage salon email inbox, responding promptly and professionally to client and business inquiries Assist with internal communications to staff regarding updates, policies, and scheduling Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
