Role Overview:
We're seeking an energetic, positive, and team-oriented Salon Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our salon. In this role, you will support our CEO and Salon Manager with various tasks and projects and be responsible for ensuring smooth salon operations, staff supervision, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily salon operations and ensure high-quality standards. Supervise and support staff, including hiring and training front desk staff and estheticians. Manage peak times, and address seasonality needs. Maintain updated client and staff records, manage inventory, and place product orders. Arrange equipment maintenance and enforce hygiene practices across all beauty stations. Promote services, products, and discounts on social media, and handle client payments. Organize staff competitions and special packages to attract new customers. Collaborate with the CEO and Salon Manager on various projects and initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
A proactive self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision. Comfortable with new client management systems and eager to learn. Reliable, responsible, and accountable with strong organizational and time management skills. Kind, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about the aesthetics industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Beauty Salon Manager or in a similar role. Knowledge of beauty treatments and products, including skincare. Experience with credit card/cash reconciliation and handling customer requests and complaints. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and embrace new technologies. Strong attention to detail, positive energy, and a commitment to exceptional service. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed, 40 hours a week total between both locations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, with commission opportunities to boost earnings.
