Duties Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and finishing services using advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care. Manage daily salon operations including front desk duties, appointment scheduling via salon software like MINDBODY, and retail sales. Deliver personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services and retail products through upselling and retail math strategies. Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety by adhering to sanitation protocols for hair threading, straight razor shaves, and other treatments. Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge on color theory, hair cutting techniques, and new trends to foster professional growth. Oversee store management responsibilities such as inventory control, retail stock replenishment, and financial transactions. Cultivate strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, attentive service, and personalized follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction. Experience Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like hair extensions or straight razors. Demonstrated ability to manage salon operations or lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with salon software systems such as

MINDBODY

for scheduling, point-of-sale transactions, and client management. Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to cosmetology and barbering practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor others while delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in retail sales strategies including upselling products like makeup applications or nail care items to enhance revenue. Certifications or training in cosmetology or barbering are required; additional skills in eyelash extensions or hair threading are a plus.
