As an integral part of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting store goals, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive team culture. Duties Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Lead and motivate the team by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Manage retail sales activities by promoting products, processing transactions through POS systems, and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize revenue. Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure an outstanding client experience. Support employee orientation, interviewing new candidates, and participating in recruiting efforts to build a strong team. Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity. Coordinate purchasing of salon supplies and manage inventory levels to ensure availability while controlling costs. Supervise shift management duties including scheduling staff coverage, monitoring performance, and maintaining operational efficiency. Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones through promotional events or special offers. Maintain organized records related to sales reports, employee performance, inventory logs, and operational procedures. Experience Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the retail or service industry is highly preferred. Proven track record in retail sales management with strong leadership skills in team supervision and development. Experience with inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and foster positive relationships with clients and staff alike. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Demonstrated ability to manage operational tasks such as budgeting, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, stock control, and administrative responsibilities.
