Wellness Coordinator Massage Lake Charles | Lake Charles, LA Be the Heart of Our Guest Experience Massage Lake Charles, a five-star rated wellness spa, is seeking an energetic, professional, and client-focused Wellness Coordinator to b e the welcoming face of our spa. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences while helping clients discover the services, memberships, and products that support their wellness journey. What You' ll Do Create Exceptional Guest Experiences Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism from arrival through departure. Deliver a five-star client experience that reflects our commitment to wellness and self-care. Educate guests on treatments, memberships, retail products, and promotions. Address client questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area. Manage Daily Spa Operations Answer phones, emails, and online inquiries professionally and promptly. Schedule, modify, and confirm appointments using spa management software. Process client check-ins and check-o uts accurately. Open and close the spa according to established procedures. Operate commercial laundry equipment to sort, wash, dry, fold, and stock all linens, towels, and robes according to sanitation and brand standards. Mainta in accurate client records and appointment not es. Drive Client Retention & Revenue Promote memberships, service enhancements, packages, and retail products. Recommend services and products based on individual client needs and wellness goals. Encourage guests to rebook future appointments. Support client retention efforts through personalized service and follow-up communication. Help achieve monthly sales and membership goals. Support Administrative & Inventory Functions Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records. Assist with retail inventory management and merchandising. Reconcile daily cash drawer balances. Support management with administrative projects and operational tasks. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of customer service, hospitality, wellness, spa, salon, fitness, or luxury-service experience. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software systems. Preferred Qualifications Previous spa, salon, wellness, fitness, or hospitality experience. Experience selling memberships, retail products, or service enhancements. Familiarity with appointment scheduling or booking software. Experience with Meevo, Mindbody, SpaBiz, MassageBook, or similar platforms. Skills That Lead to Success The ideal candidate is: Friendly, outgoing, and professional.
