Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Salon Manager to lead our salon team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. Duties Lead and supervise salon staff, including stylists and support personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations Manage scheduling, shift assignments, and employee orientation to optimize team productivity Oversee client appointments, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction at all times Handle recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and selecting top talent for the salon team Maintain inventory control of salon products, tools, and supplies to prevent shortages or overstocking Implement marketing strategies to promote salon services and retail products effectively Manage POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks Monitor sales performance, set targets, and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales goals Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while supervising cleanliness and sanitation procedures Conduct training & development sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge Oversee operational management including budgeting, pricing strategies, and store merchandising Skills Proven management experience in retail or service industry environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee orientation techniques Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for financial transactions Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and training & development programs Knowledge of retail sales strategies, merchandising practices, and operational management principles Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining customer service excellence Organizational skills with keen attention to detail for bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not required Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
