This position involves supervising spa staff, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Spa Supervisor supports the Spa Director in achieving revenue goals, maintaining service standards, and creating a relaxing and luxurious experience to all Kansas Citians and travelers. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including scheduling, appointment bookings, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness of facilities. Communicate effectively with Director, Spa Concierge, Attendants, Therapists & Estheticians. Assist with maintaining an up-to-date Spa back bar, count and submit monthly inventory of spa products, supplies, and equipment; place orders as necessary to avoid shortages. Stay up to date with the latest Spa trends and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Guest Experience Greet guests warmly and ensure they are provided with a five-star experience from arrival to departure. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Spa, creating a positive, smooth, well-run operation. Collaborate and coordinate with Hotel Front Desk and Concierge to promote Spa services and packages to hotel guests. Team Leadership Supervise and provide support to Spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and attendants. Assist in implementing and maintaining regular training sessions to ensure staff are up to date with service standards and treatment protocols asked for by the Director including coordinating with vendors for required training. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to assist with the evaluation process to improve servicequality and professionalism. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing team members. Sales and Revenue Assist the Spa Director in implementing marketing strategies and retail ordering to promote spa services and products to ensure retail area is always staged for maximum buyer impact. Encourage upselling of spa treatments, retail products, and hotel services to meet or exceed revenue targets. Monitor sales reports and identify areas for improvement. Must familiarize and maintain department education with all Spa retail. Administration Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position, the required duties as well as department requirements and these are enforced within the spa team. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and inventory. Enforce company polices and procedures within the spa team. Maintain and refine opening and closing procedures as needed. Responsible for helping find shift coverage when necessary. Qualifications Education and Experience Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, wellness, or business management is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, hospitality, or wellness setting; with at least 3 years of experience in supervisory or leadership role. Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Must be extremely dependable with a strong work ethic and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
