Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Oversee daily operations of retail, guest services, transportation, spa, and pool/fitness area. All duties are to be performed following the department and company's policies, practices, and procedures.Position:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or other related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees daily operation and supervision of retail, guest service, spa and pool/fitness area.
- Oversees pool and fitness room to ensure prompt service to customers; plans short- and long-term goals of the store operations, work scheduling, maintenance of inventory levels and workflow.
- Monitors the departments' operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and hygiene standards; ensures all Mississippi Department of Massage Therapist are adhered to; ensures compliance with all code requirements for employee certifications, permits, and licenses; oversees the overall maintenance and repair of all equipment.
- Manages and oversees the departments' fiscal budgets, constantly monitoring sales and services, while controlling labor and other costs to maximize profitability.
- Manages the human resources responsibilities for the department to include hiring/firing, training, and issuing disciplines of employees; ensures the proper documentation of all actions taken.
- Researches and evaluates new services, products, technologies, and trends for customer preferences; researches and evaluates suppliers and vendors for pool based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, reputation, and history; evaluates and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Works with training to develop, design, implement, coordinate, and maintain safety programs and training.
- Works with the Director of Hotel Operations on marketing strategies to enhance customer loyalty, and brand awareness and identifies potential markets.
- Ensures service standards are met and/or exceeded which includes resolving guest disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Evaluates market demands for service, goods, and merchandise.
- Oversee valet operations to include timely service and functioning equipment.
- Responsible for concierge service, to include oversight for bell desk and closets.
- Manage fleet operations, including maintenance and tag renewals.
- Maintains stock quantities and a diverse selection of products to maximum sales.
- Remains up to date in the newest trends and/or advances in product lines to make appropriate buying decisions.
- Oversees the development of merchandise displays.
- Ensures all necessary employee and facility licenses are obtained, maintained, and posted as required.
- Ensures assigned area(s) and equipment is clean, neat, and orderly always.
- Ensures sterilization of tools is maintained per health standards.
- Collaborates with leadership in the development of an annual budget, capital expenditures, and financial analysis.
- Meets and/or exceeds budget objectives and revenue goals.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays may also be required.
SUPERVISION
- Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/firing/performance decisions.
