As we scale, we are looking for a Guest Experience Coordinator to join us on our busiest days and ensure that every client who walks through the door feels welcomed, cared for, and taken care of from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This is not a traditional receptionist role. You are the person who holds the floor together on high-volume days, managing the flow, supporting the stylists, owning the checkout experience, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks when the salon is at its busiest. What You Will Do Client Experience and Floor Support Greet every client warmly and by name upon arrival Ensure clients are checked in, seated, and comfortable throughout their visit Monitor appointment flow and communicate with stylists when timing shifts or overlaps arise Anticipate client needs before they are expressed: beverages, timing updates, service explanations Protect the guest experience standard on busy days when small things can easily be forgotten Checkout and Prebooking Support Manage the checkout process for all clients Confirm and secure the next appointment for every client before they leave, using the salon's prebooking script Communicate available appointment slots clearly and confidently to support rebooking conversations Flag any client who leaves without a next appointment so the stylist can follow up Retail Support Reinforce product recommendations made by the stylist during the service Present recommended products at checkout Ensure retail products are stocked, displayed, and accessible on the floor throughout the shift Pack and label online retail orders Scheduling and Communication Monitor the appointment book throughout the day and communicate proactively with stylists about timing, overlaps, or gaps Support stylists in managing client flow so no one feels overextended Flag scheduling issues that need attention for the following week Salon Presentation Ensure the salon floor, waiting area, and retail displays are clean, organized, and on-brand throughout the shift Restock supplies and products as needed during the day What We Are Looking For Warm, polished, and professional presence, you set the tone for the room Strong communicator who can manage multiple things at once without losing composure Naturally service-oriented, you notice what needs to be done before being asked Comfortable talking about products and services with confidence and without pressure Reliable and consistent: Thursdays through Saturdays are our highest-volume days and this role is critical on those days Prior experience in a salon, spa, retail, or hospitality environment preferred Familiarity with salon booking software a plus (we use Mangomint) Schedule Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Hours based on salon schedule•typically open to close on these days Compensation 17•20 per hour, based on experienceRetail commission structure available Employee discount on salon services and productsPaid weekly Why Your Role Matters Our stylists are talented and our clients are loyal.
