This person will be a mentor and inspiration to our entire staff by maintaining high-performance standards, leading by example, providing superior customer service, and setting and reaching sales goals for the individuals and the team. Job Description Our General Manager serves to support the Spa Owners in executing the day-to-day operations along with specific assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities & Duties Leadership & Team Management Direct supervisor to Lead Massage Therapists, Lead Estheticians, and Sales Associates Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members Conduct scheduling, performance reviews, documentation, and team meetings Oversee training and continued staff development Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture Sales & Business Performance Meet and exceed membership and gift card sales goals Create and implement sales initiatives and team performance strategies Motivate service providers and front desk teams to drive growth Analyze and maximize appointment book productivity Communicate promotions, upgrades, and service offerings effectively to clients Operations & Customer Experience Oversee day-to-day spa operations Ensure exceptional customer service for all members and guests Handle customer service escalations and conflict resolution Maintain cleanliness and operational standards throughout the spa Manage daily appointment flow, scheduling, and confirmations Monitor client surveys and ensure timely employee feedback Administrative Responsibilities Inventory management and routine counts Order service supplies and equipment Manage scheduling conflicts, call-outs, payroll concerns, and documentation Computer data entry and operational reporting Complete additional administrative responsibilities as assigned Community & Brand Engagement Support social media initiatives and local marketing efforts Participate in community outreach initiatives (minimum 4 annually) Represent the Hand & Stone brand professionally within the community Qualifications & SkillsPreferred Qualifications 5+ years of sales experience 5+ years of management experience Membership-based sales experience preferred Reliable transportation required Position Requirements Goal-oriented with leadership ambition and growth mindset Proven sales success and ability to drive team performance Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Computer proficiency; spa or appointment-booking software experience is a plus Strong conflict resolution and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently while leading a team effectively What We Offer Competitive salary Bonus potential Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match up to 4% Employee discounts Flexible scheduling Annual employee appreciation events and outings Growth opportunities within a nationally recognized spa brand Join a company that values leadership, accountability, customer experience, and team culture while offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization.
