Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Salon Manager, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon. This energetic position combines leadership, customer service, and operational responsibilities to foster a welcoming environment for clients and motivate a talented team. As an Assistant Salon Manager with Sport Clips, you will support the salon manager in driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining a high standard of service excellence. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a vibrant atmosphere that encourages growth and success for both clients and team members. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily salon operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service Support employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance Assist in oversight of inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising to maintain product availability and presentation Ensure proper cash handling, cashiering procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations are followed accurately Promote retail sales through effective upselling techniques and customer engagement strategies Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and inventory control while adhering to safety standards Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and clear communication skills Implement marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent organizational skills Qualifications Current Cosmetology or Barber License Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail or service environment Strong management skills with experience in team management, training & development, and leadership roles Excellent communication skills Knowledge of retail math, sales management, and store management principles Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, merchandising, and marketing techniques Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join us in creating an inspiring environment where beauty meets professionalism!
