SALON COORDINATOR / RECEPTIONIST
reborn. hair + scalp spa is seeking friendly, organized, and professional team members to help create an exceptional guest experience. We are hiring for both Salon Coordinator and Receptionist positions. Both roles support daily salon operations, guest satisfaction, and front desk responsibilities, with the Salon Coordinator taking a lead role in daily operations and team support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests and create a warm, professional, and relaxing first impression. Answer phones, respond to messages, and assist guests with scheduling and appointment inquiries. Check guests in and out, process payments, and assist with retail purchases. Help maintain a smooth daily appointment flow throughout the salon. Rebook guests and encourage ongoing service schedules to support guest retention. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist guests with service information, product recommendations, and general salon questions. Open and close the salon according to company procedures. Monitor salon cleanliness, presentation, and guest areas throughout the day. Assist with inventory organization and notify the owner when supplies are running low. Capture photos and videos of services, products, and salon activities when appropriate. Assist with social media content creation and posting, helping maintain an active online presence with a minimum of three posts per week or as directed. Promote salon services, retail products, events, and special offers to guests. Communicate professionally with guests, team members, and the owner.
SALON COORDINATOR ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the lead point of contact during assigned shifts. Help coordinate daily salon operations and ensure services run smoothly and efficiently. Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members throughout the day. Assist with employee scheduling, workflow coordination, and daily operational needs. Help resolve guest concerns and operational issues professionally. Monitor team performance, punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to salon standards. Communicate important salon issues, maintenance concerns, staffing needs, and guest matters to the owner. Assist with onboarding and training new team members. Make routine operational decisions during assigned shifts and escalate major decisions to the owner.
RECEPTIONIST ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Support daily front desk operations and guest services. Help maintain appointment flow and communication between guests and service providers. Notify the Salon Coordinator or owner of guest concerns, employee issues, or operational matters requiring attention. Follow established salon procedures and assist with maintaining a positive guest experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Comfortable using scheduling software, computers, phones, and social media. Salon, spa, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to work independently and confidently when opening or closing the salon.
