Spa Manager Legacy Hotel About the Role Legacy Hotel is seeking an experienced and service-driven Spa Manager to lead the daily operations of our boutique luxury spa. This position is ideal for a hospitality leader who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, developing strong teams, and growing spa revenue through services, retail products, special offerings, and wellness programs. The Spa Manager will oversee spa operations, scheduling, team performance, guest satisfaction, inventory, retail sales, and financial performance while partnering closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to support Legacy Hotel's overall vision. What You'll Do Lead all day-to-day spa operations and ensure a seamless, luxury guest experience. Manage reservations, appointment scheduling, service flow, and staffing levels. Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop massage therapists, estheticians, and spa support staff. Maintain high standards for guest service, cleanliness, presentation, sanitation, and professionalism. Resolve guest concerns and operational issues promptly and professionally. Monitor spa performance, including revenue, expenses, payroll, retail sales, and key performance indicators. Promote service upgrades, add-on treatments, retail products, memberships, and other revenue-generating opportunities. Educate and coach the spa team on product knowledge, retail sales, and guest recommendations. Identify opportunities to introduce new treatments, wellness programs, services, and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory for retail products, treatment supplies, linens, and equipment. Place orders and maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers. Monitor inventory and operating costs to reduce shortages, waste, and unnecessary expenses. Coordinate spa promotions, seasonal offerings, wellness events, and community engagement initiatives with hotel leadership. Partner with marketing to build spa awareness and increase guest traffic. Assist with the development and execution of special events, memberships, and Legacy loyalty initiatives. Develop and maintain spa procedures, service standards, records, and operational best practices. Participate in management meetings and provide updates on spa performance, opportunities, and initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements. What We're Looking For 3+ years of management experience in a spa, wellness center, resort, hotel, or hospitality environment. Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees. Strong understanding of spa operations, including massage, skincare, facials, treatments, and wellness services. Experience with reservation systems, scheduling software, and point-of-sale systems. Strong sales, retail, and business development skills. Ability to analyze performance, manage expenses, and identify opportunities to increase revenue. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to luxury hospitality and exceptional guest service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a luxury, boutique, resort, or hotel spa environment. Spa management certification or hospitality management background. Experience launching new spa services, treatments, memberships, or wellness programs. The Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on hospitality leader who can balance exceptional guest service with strong business performance. You know how to build and motivate a high-performing spa team, create memorable guest experiences, grow retail and service revenue, and continuously look for new ways to enhance the spa's offerings. You will work closely with Legacy Hotel's GM and AGM to bring ownership's vision for the spa and overall guest experience to life.
