RC Furniture has been manufacturing fine upholstered furniture in Southern California since 1984. A major supplier to furniture retailers nationwide, RC Furniture has forged into the high-end furniture world and is looking for new talented additions to our manufacturing team.
Job Description:
The seamstress's position's main responsibility is to sew upholstery fabrics according to required specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Sew and finish upholstery fabrics Troubleshoot errors for highest quality outcome Operate sewing machine Clean and maintain an organized work area Meet production schedule deadlines Follow approval guidelines with precision and attention to detail Know and practice safety procedures
Qualifications:
Must have basic knowledge of a sewing machines (how to thread, adjust tension, properly cut fabric, etc.) Strong attention to detail, sharp eye Ability to focus and prioritize tasks Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Reliable and punctual
