This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have strong alteration experience, commercial sewing machine experience, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Perform professional clothing alterations to customer specifications Taper pants and shirts Hem pants, including blind hems Take in and let out waistlines Adjust crotch and inseam areas Sew on patches, name tapes, and insignia accurately Perform garment repairs and reinforcement work Take customer measurements and fittings Operate commercial sewing and alteration equipment Maintain clean, consistent, and professional workmanship Manage a high-volume alteration workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and turnaround times Qualifications Previous professional tailoring or alteration experience

Commercial sewing machine experience

REQUIRED

Blind hem experience preferred Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail and quality control Experience working with uniforms or heavier fabrics preferred Reliable attendance and professional attitude Must be organized, efficient, and capable of handling multiple alteration orders simultaneously Important We are seeking an experienced alteration professional and are not hiring for a training position. Applicants should already be comfortable performing common alterations independently.
