Experienced Alterations Specialist / Workroom Assistant Style Adix Alterations & Custom Apparel Simi Valley, CA Job Details Full-time From $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Stitching Attention to detail Room tidying Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Full-Time | $30.00 per Hour | Tuesday-Saturday | Simi Valley, CA (On-Site) Our growing alterations studio is looking for an experienced Workroom Assistant to join our production team. We specialize in high-quality alterations and custom garment work, and we're seeking someone who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. If you enjoy working with a variety of garments and fabrics in a professional, fast-paced workroom, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform professional alterations and garment repairs. Operate industrial sewing equipment, including: Single needle Overlock/serger Cover stitch Blind hem Alter and finish bridal gowns, formalwear, men's clothing, women's apparel, and everyday garments. Work with a broad range of fabrics, from lightweight and delicate materials to heavier textiles. Maintain consistent quality while meeting production deadlines. Help keep the workroom clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: At least 2 years of professional alterations experience Strong garment construction knowledge Experience using industrial sewing machines The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Dependability and a strong work ethic
