Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our dynamic clothing alteration team. In this role, you will be responsible for fixing high-quality garments through precise sewing and garment construction techniques. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to delivering beautifully finished products that meet our quality standards. This commission based position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your sewing expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and efficiency are valued. Duties Operate sewing machines to assemble and finish garments with accuracy and speed Follow detailed patterns, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure proper garment construction Inspect finished products for quality, fit, and consistency, making necessary adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing or warehouse setting Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols Assist in fabric cutting, pinning, and preparation tasks to streamline the sewing process Record production data and report any issues or defects promptly to supervisors Requirements Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques Proficiency with various types of sewing machines and tools used in manufacturing environments Strong understanding of sewing patterns, fabric types, and finishing methods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards Previous alterations experience is a plus required Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably Fluent in Spanish and English Ability to work as an independent contractor Join us as a Seamstress and bring your craftsmanship to life!
